Make Your Own Stamp: Garden Harvest Edition // Holiday Cards
COMING SOON! Discover a fun and easy way to add your creative touch to cards, wrapping paper, fabric, and other DIY projects! Make and use rubber stamps and special ink to create unique patterns and designs on all sorts of materials. Design and fabricate your own soft rubber stamp and use it to print on a variety of new and recycled materials. Emphasis is placed on tool safety and showing you tips and tricks to start carving and printing at home. Leave with basic tools, materials, and at least one custom-made block stamp to take home and reuse. Introduction to Metalworking
Tuesday May 27, 2025, 6:00-8:30PM *FULL* Add yourself to the waitlist to find out about added sections :) Unlock the basics of metalworking in this beginner-friendly course. Learn essential techniques like cutting, shaping, heating, and polishing metal to create a unique pair of earrings from start to finish. Using simple, accessible tools like a handheld kitchen torch and small metal anvils, students will practice with copper and brass before completing a final piece in silver. This class is perfect for those looking to bring metalworking into their home or pop-up studio. Metalworking II COMING SOON! Take your jewelry skills to the next level with this intermediate class focused on soldering, forging, and annealing. You'll learn how to safely use a torch, fuse metal, soften work-hardened pieces through heat, along with measuring, forging, and soldering a finished ring. Students will practice in copper or brass, and complete a finished project in sterling silver. This class also introduces finishing techniques including filing, sanding, and polishing. All tools and materials are provided. Students should have Metalworking I as a prerequisite or prior experience with basic metalworking (such as sawing, filing, and shaping) prior to enrolling. |
